About - Michael D. McGill

Hi, I’m Michael McGill.

I’m Chief Information Officer at Medical Service Company. In my time at Medical Service Company, I have lead the organization through several IT transformations. We have gone from being paper-based, to a digitally transformed, industry leading organization.

I have been in the IT industry for over 20 years. With hard work, good fortune, and the help of great people; I have advanced from a front-line IT Professional thorough the ranks to IT Leader. I have learned a lot along the way.

I love to share my experience with other IT Professionals that are looking to make the leap to IT Leader. Digital Transformation and Cloud Technologies are changing the IT landscape. IT Professionals must develop their leadership skills to have influence and impact within their organizations.

I am huge believer in the importance of networking. I am a board member of the Cleveland Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM Cleveland). I am also a member of the OHTec CIO Forum.

I am passionate about helping to develop our future technology professionals. I take part in the Cleveland RITE Board and I mentor College Now scholarship recipients.

I have a beautiful wife, April, and two great kids, Trevor and Katie. I love all things Cleveland and am a huge Cleveland Sports fan (Go Browns!).
